My Little Pony G3 Wiki

Sparkleworks as depicted on the back of her toy's box.

Sparkleworks is a tomboyish pony character and toy of the G3 franchise.

Her debut came in 2003 as one of the Glitter Celebration ponies, part of the Summer release. She was released in a new pose during the second wave of Glitter Celebration ponies along with Pinkie Pie. In the same year, she was sold as a pack with an additional A Charming Birthday VHS and charm bracelet. She was released many more times.

Sparkleworks is tangerine with a cerise pink mane. Two of her toy releases have iridescent tinsel in the hair. Her eyes are indigo blue, and her hoof heart is sunshine yellow or cerise red. Her cutie mark is notably more complicated than a lot of the other ponies, showing two white star fireworks with crimson/violet, sunshine yellow and turquoise blue colors exploding from them.

In her last release in 2006, her cutie mark was reversed.

“Sparkleworks is always amazing. A bit glitzy, but always amazing. On her birthday, she coated the entire town with glitter! Oh, it was beautiful, but what a mess. I’m still shaking glitter out of my hair.” Razzaroo's description of Sparkleworks in "A Charming Birthday".

SPARKLEWORKS has already been up for hours. She gets up early in the morning because she just can't wait to greet each new day -- with a ride across the sky in a hot-air balloon! Sparkleworks' backcard story from the back of her toy's box.

SPARKLEWORKS has such a big imagination, she makes every day an adventure! A walk in the park feels like a journey to a far away land! Sparkleworks' second backcard story from the back of her toy's box.

Sparkleworks in "A Charming Birthday"

>She first appears in "A Charming Birthday" helping others decide the gift for Kimono. She is later seen working with Sunny Daze to make the perfect giant shining charms to decorate the castle for Kimono's party and is among all the other ponies when they surprise Kimono. A 3D animated Sparkleworks appears in the background during a commercial for the Cotton Candy Cafe playset. She can be seen jump roping with what appears to be Sweetberry and another pony just before the live shots take over. Sparkleworks is also one of 5 possible ponies to play as in the "Best Friends Ball" PC game. Her roles thereafter are rather minor but she does appear in "Friends Are Never Far Away", "The Princess Promenade", “Pinkie Pie and the Ladybug Jamboree”, and the animated short "Positively Pink". She is voiced by Venus Terzo.
