My Little Pony G3 Wiki

Scootaloo as depicted on the back of her toy's box.

Scootaloo is a young tomboyish pony character and toy of the G3 franchise. She is a character of the Core 7 with violet and hot pink hair. Sometimes she is depicted with a hot pink mane and violet tail. She has hot pink and violet eyes and a hot pink hoof heart. Her cutie mark is a hot pink and sunshine yellow butterfly with two sunshine yellow daisy-like flowers on the sides. She is a major character in the animated movies.

Her toy debut came in 2005 as one of the Scootin' Along ponies. The other ponies in this set were only released this one time, however, Scootaloo was released many more times. These other ponies were Breezie, Bumbleberry, Flitter Flutter, and Scooter Sprite, all coming with their own scooters and helmets.

There’s so much to do on an island as magical as this that a pony needs a zippy scooter just to get it all done! Put SCOOTALOO on her scooter, but make sure she wears her safety helmet... its visor goes up and down! Pull back on the scooter, and it zips forward! Style her pretty hair and put on her backpack so she’ll be ready for a fun day of catching and releasing butterflies! - Scootaloo's backcard story from the back of her toy's box.

Scootaloo in "Meet the Ponies".

Scootaloo first appears during the Meet the Ponies stories and has her own party. Later, in Twinkle Wish Adventure, she accidentally releases Twinkle Wish the wishing star after being too curious when the others gather around the treasure chest containing it. When the others set off to get her back, she and Sweetie Belle are left behind to cover for them (due to a lack of room for all of them in the hot air balloon) and end up lying to Mayor Flitter Flutter on multiple occasions. She is originally voiced by Maryke Hendrikse and is currently voiced by Tabitha St Germain.

  • Scootaloo is also the name of a pony in My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, whom is actually possibly younger than the Scootaloo in Twinkle Wish Adventure but the hot pink hair streaks were removed and she has wings.
  • In Core 7, Scootaloo is Cheerilee's little sister but this isn't really revealed until "Twinkle Wish Adventure".
