Rarity' is a unicorn character that first appears in The Runaway Rainbow. She is voiced by Tajja Isen

About

Rarity is a young girly girl unicorn from Unicornia. She is light hot pink with tangerine, sunshine yellow, and cerise pink mane hair, kiwi green, turquoise blue and violet tail hair. Her eyes are turquoise blue and her cutie mark is a cerise pink heart with a rainbow swirl and white stars. She typically doesn't like learning regardless of how important it is and will often get distracted when she's undergoing a lesson from Cheerilee. She enjoys having fun even if she ends up in trouble. Curiosity also ends up often getting the better of her as proven in "The Runaway Rainbow". She never means to cause trouble and often regrets her mistakes but sometimes makes excuses for what happened. She tends to have a rather large appetite as well.

Media

Rarity appeared most notably in "The Runaway Rainbow" (and all its adaptations) as the main character tasked with creating the first rainbow of the season. She later appears in "Greetings from Unicornia", where she joins Rainbow Dash and Cheerilee in a song. In "Come Back, Lily Lightly", she can be seen throughout the animated short. She also appears during "The World's Biggest Tea Party" with the task of bringing in streamers for the tea party and in "Grand Puzzleventure" to show you how rainbows are made.

• Rarity's colors make her quite similar in appearance to Toola-Roola during the Core 7 era.
• Rarity's voice actor, Cathy Weseluck, voiced Spike the Dragon and other characters in My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic.
