Pegasi are one of the many species of Ponies in Ponyland. They are characterized by their wings, ability to walk on clouds.

Within the original G3 movies, all Pegasus Ponies reside on Butterfly Island, separated from the other races. However, after the Core 7 redesign of the series, they're shown to live in Ponyville along with Earth Ponies and Unicorns.
